I recently wrote an article about Free Software for Nonprofits, in which I recommended organizations like yours should take advantage TechSoup, which is itself a nonprofit that provides other not-for-profit organizations with software and technology for a wide variety of needs. 

TechSoup offers Quicken and many other financial software packages, for different types of computers, so you should be able to find a good solution there.
