Accounting Associate with Inventory Experience

We’re seeking a Part Time Accounting Associate to assist our Team with daily bookkeeping and accounting functions, utilizing QuickBooks, Microsoft Office and online banking. Previous manufacturing and inventory experience is desired.

Job requirements

Duties include:

  • Processing transactions such as: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank/account reconciliation, expense reports, month-end closing and financial reporting, on-line banking
  • Verifying and checking all data entry
  • Backing up files for financials
  • Tracking time usage for each client and task
  • Working closely with and assisting team members
  • Using purchase orders
  • Receiving items
  • Job costing
  • Inventory adjustments
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will be very organized, be detail oriented, and have the ability to problem solve and use logic. The position requires good verbal and written communication skills, above average computer skills.

This position requires an 2+ years of work experience in a position requiring focus on details. Accounting experience is not required.
